Help Needed Immediately - Urgent Needs?

|
It is the
start of kitten season! Saffron is a stray cat who made
a "no pets" apartment complex her home. A
kind lady started feeding her and realized too late
that she was soon to be a mother. Saffron and her 4
newborn babies were brought to us March 4th. The week
before we took in a mom with 6 baby kittens and 3 cats
that were too-pregnant-to-spay. We are in urgent need
of foster homes and donations to help support these
families. Fostering abandoned or neglected momma cats
& their tiny kittens can be entertaining, heart
warming and rewarding. Tax Deductible donations needed
for medical care. Many of the rescued kittens need shots,
checkups and treatment. Help save these tiny adorable
kittens, left helpless hoping for a new home and loving
human parents.

Silver
This
ia Silver. She came to us Feb. 18th at 5 weeks old.
She was found with a broken back leg. When xrays
were done, the vet said he would try to insert a
pin to mend the break. However, he was concerned
about her tiny fragile bones. Because of the location
of the break, her leg may have to be amputated.
Surgery always has its risks, but it is especially
dangerous when the patient is so young. Silver underwent
surgery on Feb. 27. We were so relieved when Silver
came through it. Sadly, the bone was too damaged
to repair, so the leg was amputated. Since she was
already used to getting around on just 3 legs, Silver
is doing fine. The vet generously discounted his
services, but this was still a big expense we didn't
have extra funds for. If you can help out, please
use PayPal or send us a check and note that it's
to help with Silver.
Update:
Silver has gone to her new home in San Diego. This
is her new mom Tawny. Her new dad is a 22 year veteran
as a Navy Seal.

Can you help our cats find homes?
Many
of the cats are loveable 1 year olds. They were kittens
from last year and are indoor only cats. We have some
that would like indoor/outdoor homes where the environment
is safe from predators, heavy traffic, loose dogs.
We also have some healthy feral cats that would be fine
in an outdoor environment such as a protected back yard
or perhaps as barn cats.
Could you help by adopting or being a long-term foster
for one or more of these cats? Cats also are great when
indoors to control any pests, rodents and their food,
litter and vet bills are partially tax deductible if you
use them for pest control (check your local deductions
for pest control).
Please spread the word to your friends, family and
coworkers. Please help us find forever homes for
these cats and so many others that are in need. Call Lolette
at 661-755-4848.

What are we doing for our community?

What are our plans to improve services for
animals and the community?
|
To develop and implement a spay/neuter awareness program
To extend and enhance our foster home program
Inform & Help pet owners understand healthy choices
for cats / kittens
There is still much to be done and not enough people
or funds to do it with. A community problem requires
a resolution from the entire community!
